Thank you for shopping at D2 Layerworks. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please read our policy regarding returns, refunds, and exchanges below.
Custom & Made-to-Order Items
Because the majority of our 3D printed items are custom made-to-order, personalized, or printed in custom color/material configurations chosen by you, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds for custom items unless they arrive damaged or have a major manufacturing defect.
Standard (Non-Custom) Items
For standard, non-custom stock items, you have 30 days from the date you received your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.

To start a return, contact us at d2layerworks@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package.
3D Printing Characteristics & Minor Variations
Please note that 3D printing is an additive manufacturing process. Minor cosmetic variations, visible layer lines, tiny artifacts, or small surface imperfections are a normal characteristic of the 3D printing process and do not constitute a manufacturing defect.
Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items
Please inspect your order upon receipt. If the item is defective, structurally broken, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately at d2layerworks@gmail.com with:

Your order number.

Clear photos of the damaged item and the shipping packaging. We will evaluate the issue right away and arrange for a replacement print or a refund.
Return Shipping

For standard returns, buyers are responsible for return shipping costs.

If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you if the refund was approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 5-7 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
